Golden Press Card Awards Banquet Friday, May 10
Our annual awards banquet will take place Friday, May 10, at the University of Tennessee Visitors Center (formerly UT Faculty Club) at the corner of Neyland Drive and Kingston Pike. Co-sponsored by UT's College of Communication and Information, the event will feature heavy hors d'ouevres (including vegetarian options) and a cash bar.
Social time begins at 6:30 p.m., with the awards ceremony beginning at 7:15. On-air institution Hubert Smith, host of 90.3 FM's “Hubert Smith Radio Show,” a mix of classic R&B music and local public affairs, will emcee this year's awards.

A night of music and skits poking fun at news and local newsmakers peformed by ETSPJ members and friends. This is our signature event and the main fundraiser to support scholarships for journalism students at the University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State Community College.
This year's event will take place at the Clarence Brown Theatre on the campus of the University of Tennessee. Please check back for more details.
