DESCRIPTION:\nTickets are available for the Golden Press Card awards presentation on May 15 at Maple Hall in downtown Knoxville.\n\n\n\nThe Golden Press Cards Awards event will be 6-8:30 p.m. in the Maple Room of Maple Hall, 414 S. Gay St., Knoxville (the same venue as the last two years).\n\n\n\nTickets are available via Eventbrite ( https://www.eventbrite.com/e/golden-press-card-awards-tickets-1325189470379?aff=oddtdtcreator ).\n\n\n\nTickets are $20 for ETSPJ members and $25 for non-members purchased in advance. At-the-door tickets are $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Eventbrite ticketing fees are extra.\n\n\n\nThere were 270 entries in professional and student categories in the Golden Press Card contest ( https://etspj.org/2024-golden-press-card-contest-opens-for-entries-on-jan-1/ ) this year. The contest was judged by the Oklahoma Pro SPJ Chapter.\n\n\n\nThe contest honors the best journalism produced in East Tennessee last year.\n
