DESCRIPTION:A forum for City Council candidates will be held Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nThe candidate forum will be held via Zoom in partnership with East Tennessee Society of Professional Journalists, League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County and other local organizations, including: American Muslim Advisory Council, Centro Hispano de East Tennessee, Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Knoxville Area Urban League; Knoxville Chapter of the NAACP, and YWCA of Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley.\nAttendees should pre-register for the event HERE. The webinar also will be recorded and available for later viewing.\nThe last day to register to vote for the citywide General Election is Oct. 4. Early voting is Oct. 13-28. Election Day is Nov. 2.\n\n \n \n
