DESCRIPTION:A Knox County mayoral candidate meet and greet will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Blount Mansion, 200 W. Hill Ave. in downtown Knoxville.\nThe candidates for Knox County mayor are Bob Fischer, Tyler Givens, Debbie Helsley, and Glenn Jacobs. All candidates have been invited to this event.\nThe event is being by the League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County and is co-sponsored by the .East Tennessee Society of Professional Journalists.\nEarly voting will take place April 13–28, 2022, and the primary is May 3, 2022.\nThe League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and works to increase understanding of major public policy issues. Candidate forums sponsored by the League honor the League’s longstanding nonpartisan practices to ensure trust, respect, and fairness to all who participate.
