ETSPJ had a lunchtime discussion on Feb. 15, 2024 with Society of Professional Journalists President Ashanti Blaize-Hopkins hosted by WATE anchor Tearsa Smith, an award-winning journalist for the ABC affiliate in Knoxville.
Blaize-Hopkins is the first Black woman to become SPJ national president in its 114-year history.
